A Longitudinal Follow-up Study on Relapse Rate and Risk Factor Related to Relapse after Discontinuation of Long-term Antiepileptic Drug Therapy in Epileptic Children

Abstract
|
|
|
We designed this prospective study to determine the relapse rate of seizure and to evaluate the risk factors related to an unfavorable outcome after discontinuation of long-term antiepileptic drug therapy in epileptic children.
@ES The results were as follows:
@EN 1. The relapsed cases were 39 (30.2%) out of the 129 patients, of whom 22 (56.4%) had relapse by 6 month after antiepileptic drug discontinuation.
